Kitten needs care

Q. I have 3 kittens about 6 weeks old. They have a pus coming out of there eyes and there eyes mat shut. What can I get to help them?

A. Young kittens with their eyes matted shut with pus likely have upper respiratory infections and should get immediate veterinary care.

Kittens should be wormed at 2, 4, and 6 wks. of age, get examined and vaccinate by 6-8 wks. as well as testing for feline leukemia.

Please seek regular preventative veterinary care in the future.
