Beer Battered Fish

  • 1 pound fish fillets
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • ¾ cups flour
  • ¾ cup plus 2 tablespoons beer
  • ½ cup Bisquick
  • pinch salt

Instructions:
  • In mixing bowl combine flour and Bisquick.
  • Add beer to make a batter of coating consistency.
  • Pat fish dry before placing in batter. Fry in hot oil (360 degrees) until golden brown.
  • Batter may also be used to coat vegetables for deep frying.
