Cold Cherry Soup

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans sour cherries (about 14 ounce cans)
  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 cup cream or milk
  • 2 TBS. Flour

Instructions:

  • Combine everything except flour and milk in pot.
  • Heat - but DO NOT BOIL.
  • In a separate bowl mix the flour and milk together.
  • Strain flour/milk mixture through cheesecloth and pour over hot cherries.
  • Cook until thickened.
  • Chill and serve.
