Computer User Bill of Rights

Dave Pfeil of Ergonomically Correct is an Ergonomic Strategist. He evaluates the way people interact with their computers and designs workstations. Dave feels the painful frustration of computer users.

To remedy this situation, Pfeil is challenging you to endorse a 10-point User's Bill of Rights:

Computer User's Bill of Rights

Every computer user has the right to:

  • Work without discomfort, pain, or injury
  • Receive ongoing ergonomic training
  • Adequate breaks from computer use
  • Work in a neutral posture
  • An ergonomically correct workstation setup
  • Work in an ergonomically adjustable chair
  • Apply your Human Factors to your workstation
  • An adjustable keyboard system
  • Work with minimal eye strain
  • Ask for and get ergonomic assistance
