BBQ Ribs

Type I - Instructions:

  • Place ribs in a pan with water.
  • Cover with aluminum foil
  • Place in 250 degree oven and let the ribs steam for 2 ½ to 3 hours
  • Finish on the grill.

Type II - Instructions:

  • Cut ribs into individual pieces
  • Put ribs in large pot of boiling water.
  • Cook on high boil for 15-20 minutes
  • Turn heat down and simmer for 1 ½ to 2 hours
  • When ribs are almost done put on cookie sheet to allow ribs to cool down and meat knits back together.
  • BBQ for 5-10 minutes, turning often.

Type III - Instructions:

  • Marinate ribs in Teriyaki seasoning and Italian dressing overnight
  • Bake for one hour in 350 degree oven
  • Place ribs on grill - without sauce
  • Add sauce after they are finished cooking

One last tip - when you boil your ribs put onion and garlic and just a touch of vinegar in the water for even better tasting ribs. As for the sauce, well that's another column.
