Cleveland Brown-ies

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp. Margarine
  • 2 Squares unsweetened chocolate, chopped
  • 6 Tbsp. Margarine, softened
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • ½ tsp. Baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. Salt
  • ½ cup chopped roasted peanuts
  • Reese's Pieces

Instructions:

  • In a small pan, melt 2 tablespoons margarine and chocolate.
  • Remove from heat and stir.
  • Beat 6 tablespoons margarine until fluffy
  • Add egg, brown sugar and beat well.
  • Add peanut butter, vanilla and melted chocolate and blend well.
  • Add flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Blend well and stir in peanuts.
  • Spread in greased 8 x 8 inch square pan
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes
  • Cool.
  • Frost with peanut butter frosting and decorate with Reese's pieces.
Makes 16 Brown-ies
