Cleveland Guardians Opening Day at Progressive Field sign

Just 3 days before Opening Day, we checked out some of the new food items and promotional merchandise at Progressive Field for the Guardians 2026 season.

Cleveland Guardians fans will have some interesting new choices for food in the 2026 season at Progressive Field. This includes "Good Company Spicy Thai Fries" created in collaboration with Good Company, the Spicy Thai Fries features crispy french fries topped with sweet chili pulled pork, shredded carrots, sliced cucumber, green onion and sambal mayo.

In the video below we show the new foods and we asked Chef Vishwatej Nath about the Tallow Popcorn. Then a quick look at some of the promotional items available this year.

There is a new mural inside the ballpark that is perfect for photo opps. It's near Section 170 and was illustrated by local Cleveland muralist Lisa Quine, a nationally recognized artist whose work can be seen on walls, stadiums, and landmarks across Cleveland and the country, the mural highlights the enduring connection between two Cleveland originals and reflects a shared pride in the city, culture, and community. It’s built not just to be admired, but to be experienced, too.

My favorite part is you can "become" one of the historic Guardians of Traffic statues. Take a look. I muted it because of the wind.

Another nice touch this year is the banners for Cleveland Fan Legend John Adams.
