Cleveland Arbor Day Tree Planting Thurgood Marshall Green 1601 E 85th St. Cleveland April 24, 2026
The Western Reserve Land Conservancy hosted a celebration marking the 10-year anniversary of their Reforest Our City (ROC) program at Thurgood Marshall Green.
Over the past decade, the ROC program has planted more than 18,000 trees across the City of Cleveland, helping to expand our urban tree canopy and strengthen neighborhoods throughout the city.
Here's a short video of some of the tree planting.
The ceremony began with a program of speakers beginning with MC Matt Zone, Chief Advocacy Officer of the WRLC.
