Ask The Audiologist

Q.What is the connection with the buzzing in my ear that I sometimes get and a feeling of nausea or dizziness? It only happens a few times each year but I haven't been able to link it with weather or anything else.

A.If you experience buzzing (known as tinnitus) and some feelings of nausea or dizziness it is important that you see an otologist (physician that specialized in disease of the ear).

The inner ear has two parts: a part that is responsible for hearing and a part that is responsible for balance. If you experience these symptoms, consult with your physician.
