We had lunch at Panini's in Euclid on a midweek afternoon. As soon as you walk in you can't help but notice the smiling and courteous staff. They greet you and show you to a choice of booth or table.

There are large screen televisions, but somehow they are not obtrusive. After first noticing them when I came in I can honestly say I was not distracted or bothered by them the whole time I was there.

The menu offers a wide assortment of sandwiches, wraps, salads, melts, clubs, burgers and "specialty" sandwiches. Specialty sandwiches include everything from Chicken (or veal) Parmesan to Buffalo Chicken to French Dip or Hot Buttered Cheese Steak. Specialty sandwich prices range from $4.95 (fish sandwich or double-decker BLT) to $5.95 (Chicken Cordon Bleu, Cajun Chicken etc.)

There are also nine different burgers in the $5.50 price range. Salads go from the simple house salad at $2.95 to a Grilled Chicken Salad for $6.50 with many choices in between.

There's also Daily Specials including Steak or Fish Dinners on Fridays and a surprise "Cook's Special" on Tuesdays. There's still nothing over $7.00.

I had a Buffalo Chicken Wrap. I was glad to hear I had a choice of mild, medium or hot, because I love the flavor of "hot" but knew I would pay for it later. I chose mild and it was delicious and perfectly seasoned. At $5.95 I was amazed at the size. In addition to the buffalo chicken the wrap was stuffed with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and celery. Of course there was an ample portion of blue cheese dressing served alongside.

My friend had the tuna salad. It was $5.25 and was served on a very large bed of lettuce and included mozzarella cheese, celery, tomato, pepperoncinis and bacon! He enjoyed it immensely and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Special Senior Tip: There are a lot of options on the menu. You can select the size of sandwich or select the "heat" of your meal. You will find portions to be very generous so be sure to ask for a doggie bag - you won't want to leave any of this good food behind.

You can always get one of their fabulous appetizers as a meal. With prices ranging from $1.50 to $7.25 there's something for every size appetite.

The restaurant is open 7 days a week serving a full menu from 11 a.m. to midnight. From midnight until 2:30 a.m. they serve sandwiches and pizza by the slice.

Friendly service. Good food. Reasonable prices. Panini's in Euclid is a good choice for everyone.
