Lake Metroparks announces advanced ticket sales for the 13th annual Country Lights program at Lake Farmpark begin Monday, November 4.

Country Lights, presented by Fifth-Third Bank, will light up Lake Farmpark on December 5 - 8 and 11 - 23. Evening activities run from 5 to 9 pm.

Country Lights is a fun-filled celebration of the season featuring horse-drawn wagon rides through a winter wonderland trimmed with 'hundreds of thousands' of holiday lights and farm-themed displays. Festively decorated Christmas trees deck-the-halls of the Visitor Center, while area musical groups entertain with holiday cheer.

Country Lights also has a special treat in store for the families - Santa's Workshop - where they can watch their child(ren) make a wooden toy to take home. Santa's Elves will help drill holes and pound nails; then each child adds their own finishing touches with paint, glitter, and snow.

During the evening, meet some of Farmpark's animals in the Well Bred Shed in the Arena and enjoy horse shows and drills presented by the Lake Metroparks Volunteer Mounted Posse and the Light Horse Brigade on alternate evenings.

Tickets for Country Lights at Lake Farmpark are sold by wagon ride times and include admission for the entire evening. Rides begin at 5pm and are available every 20 minutes.

Admission to Country Lights is: ages 12 to 59, $7; Seniors 60+, $6; youth ages 2 to 11, $5; children under 2 are free. Lake Farmpark members receive a 50% discount to any evening of the event.

To guarantee admission to Country Lights, pre-purchase of tickets is recommended as the event sells out in advance. Tickets may be purchased beginning Monday, November 4 in person at Lake Farmpark, 8800 Chardon Road, Kirtland, or by calling (440) 256-2158 (10am to 4pm everyday).

Tickets ordered by phone are subject to a $2 service charge per order. Visa, MasterCard, and Discover accepted. Lake Farmpark is a Lake Metroparks facility.
