58th Annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony Seven Hills Ohio May 26, 2025
The City of Seven Hills led by Mayor Tony Biasiotta presented their 58th annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday May 26, 2025. The day began with a parade featuring dignitaries, Police and Fire, Community groups, Normandy HS Marching Band and Grand Marshal Col. Rocky A. Favorito, USAF (Ret.) as well as the Grinch, Ghostbusters and more fun.

After the parade, the program began with Master of Ceremonies Tony Terry introducing Col. Rocky A. Favorito, USAF (Ret.) who then gave his remarks including sharing a personal story of his fellow soldiers who lost their lives in battle.

Over the course of his career, Colonel Favorito served as the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing Executive Officer during the opening phases of Operation Iraqi Freedom where he supported over 6,500 personnel and nearly 150 fighter aircrafts. He also served as the Commander of the 374th Communications Squadron in Japan and later led cybersecurity operations supporting national defense leaders including the Secretary of Defense and Air Force Chief of Staff. The program continued as Master of Ceremonies Tony Terry called on Cub Scout Pack 470 to raise the flag and lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
Next, Father Anthony Suso from Saint Columbkille Parish gave an invocation.

Then Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne gave his remarks including a reading of the World War I poem In Flanders Fields.

Tony Terry then read off the names of those whose names were being added to the Memorial Wall and Taps was played.

Director Pete Zaremba led the Normandy HS Band in several patriotic songs featuring the armed services to conclude the program. Watch a video of the above described program.
