More Golf

Q. Thanks for the great article on Golf - I wish I had paid better attention before.

My lower back has really been bothering me since golf season came around - but it never did before.

Anything else you can tell me that I should know to help prevent it?

A. Most golfers don't stretch!

Often the hip flexor muscle down the front of the thigh is a culprit with golfers! I'd strongly recommend a physical therapist do a "flexibility evaluation" and develop an individualized stretching program for you.

If you are having back pain, this evaluation would be covered by insurance. NovaCare has a physical therapist specially trained in the treatment of golfers!
