Q. I found a pill in my son's room that is oval, yellowish, and reads ucb500. Can you tell me what this is?

A. It is Keppra mg. It is used for seizures.

Q. I've had the flu and took Immodium. Now I find the opposite problem, constipation, to be the problem. I am afraid to take a laxative and starting the cycle again. How long can I wait?

A. There is no food in your system. It will probably take a few days to have a regular bm.

Q. Is formaldehyde in nail polish harmful to ones health?

A. Not unless it is ingested

Q. My wife is on LIPITOR 4O MG PER DAY. Is there any harm in substituting the Lipitor with ZOCOR 40 MG..? Please advise.

A. Both are for cholesterol. If the doctor wants to use Zocor for Lipitor that is fine.
