Q. When they say take a medication with food, do they mean in the middle of your meal or just before or just after, and how much food should you take?
A. Take the medication just after a meal. Your regular size meal is fine, unless you take it at bedtime, then just a small snack or milk would be fine.
Q. I am taking Celebrex for my arthritis, but sometimes it gets so bad I just have to take aspirin too. It doesn't help much, but it gives me some relief. Is this okay?
A. If you are taking Celebrex, it would be better to take Tylenol instead of aspirin. Taking Celebrex and aspirin together could be rough on the stomach.
Q. I read your reply to someone else's question where you said there was no generic Percocet. I just came back from the Doctor and he gave me a prescription for generic Percocet. Is he giving me the wrong thing?
A. No; some of the new strengths of Percocet have no generics.
