Q. I used corn remover on my toes and it burned my skin.
Now, the top portion of my toe doesn't have the top layer of skin...it looks like the bottom of my foot. Is there a remedy for this?
Depending on how deep the acid penetrated you may have formed scar tissue. If this was a recent event you may just need time to heal, if not there may be scar tissue.
It would be wise to have a qualified Podiatrist evaluate this injury to rule out infection and discuss treatment options with you. Your Podiatrist can determine what is causing formation of the corn and discuss prevention options with you.
I need a shoe with a wider taller toe box. Can you recommend a brand or style of tennis shoe? Thanks.
There is now a variety of styles available along with athletic shoes too. Your best bet would be to try an orthopedic shoe store and ask for extra-depth shoes.
