Carolyn's Pick: Eddie Murphy. "I knew he was talented but I never knew he could do all of the things he did in this movie."

Judi Dench - Notes on a Scandal

Helen Mirrin - The Queen

Meryl Streep - The Devil Wears Prada

Kate Winslett - Little Children

Carolyn's Pick: Judi Dench. "She did a wonderful job. I think Meryl Streep was very good too, but I don't think it's worth an Oscar."

Carolyn's Pick: Little Miss Sunshine. "It really made me laugh. Everyone did such a great job in their performance. I could have done without the grandfather's bad language, but I guess that was part of it. It was very, very good."

Happy Feet

Monster House

Carolyn's Pick: Cars. "I thought it was very well done and I just plain liked it."


Carolyn also says: "I wish Flags of Our Fathers had more nominations in non-technical categories. I really liked that movie."
