I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is a hilarious new musical comedy about the absurdity of love. Called "Seinfeld' set to music," this engaging production exposes everything about mating, dating and romance. The cast of four Cleveland based actors portray a variety of roles in a collection of scenes and songs scaling the spectrum of male/female relationships. I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is Playhouse Square's first locally produced show in almost eight years. The Hanna theatre has been transformed into a romantic, intimate setting where guests can enjoy pre-show cocktails and appetizers in the newly created lounge area or at their tables. I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change appeals to everyone who has ever experienced the trials, tribulations and joys of relationships. Featuring songs like A Stud and a Babe, Always a Bridesmaid, Why? "Cause I'm a Guy" and I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, the production is the perfect setting for a romantic evening, a girls' night out, bachelorette parties, birthdays, anniversaries or any special occasion or celebration.
The production is directed and choreographed by Ray Roderick who has directed numerous productions of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, with his Denver Center production soon to become the longest running show in the city's history.
The cast of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is comprised of all local Cleveland based actors including Tricia Bestic, Julie Hogan, Nicholas Koesters and Lawrence J. Nehring. Understudies are Jodi Dominick and Joseph Ruffner. Musical Director Angelyn Fullarton and principal violinist Ed Caner provide the musical support for the production. The creative team for the production includes Russ Borski (Scenic Design), Cynthia Stillings (Lighting Design), Terry Pieritz (Costume Design) and Stan Kozak (Sound Design.) All are from the Cleveland area.
